Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, from southern Lebanon, indicated that the army is working according to a plan and an offensive approach to radically change the security reality, from Tehran to Beirut. Zamir pointed out that the army targeted bridges and access crossings north of the Litani River during the week, noting that these bridges were used to cross members of the Radwan Force and transport combat means south with the aim of targeting Israeli citizens. He added: "Your fight against Hezbollah is important, and thanks to you, the organization continues to be weakened." Zamir stressed that the army is working to dismantle the enemy and continue striking him on every front where this is required, adding: “We will continue to work, and we will remain here as long as necessary to achieve a major strike and remove the threat in the north.” As for the Tehran front, Zamir said: “This week we will increase the frequency of attacks,” noting that “significant damage is being caused to missile production capabilities, the remaining infrastructure of its nuclear program, and targets belonging to the regime.”
